The European Championship among boxers under 19 will start in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
"Report" informs that the Azerbaijani national team will also test its strength in the competition, which will start on September 30 and last for 10 days.
Elbrus Rzayev, the head coach of the boys' national team, and coaches Yadigar Mammadov and Elvin Mamishzade will give Bilalhabashi Nazarov (50 kg), Zidan Humbatov (55 kg), Subhan Babayev (60 kg), Rza Rzayev (70 kg), Abbasgulu Shadlinski (75 kg) and Muhammad Jafarov (+90 kg) a chance in the U-19 competition.
Banuchechek Nasirli (48 kg) and Ilkana Ahmadova (+80 kg) will enter the ring under the leadership of Anar Bakhishov, the coach of the girls' national team.
International category referee Rovshan Gadirov will also be among the referees at the European Championship.
The team will go to the competition under the leadership of Rovshan Huseynov, a member of the Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation.
It should be noted that the draw for the European Championship will be held on September 29.
