Azerbaijan will be represented by 9 taekwondo athletes at the World Championships, which will be held in Wuxi, China from October 24 to 30. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation has released information about this.
Bahruz Guluzade (54 kg), Gashim Magomedov (58 kg), Fuad Tahmazov (63 kg), Riyad Shiraliyev (68 kg), Javad Agayev (74 kg), Taleh Suleymanov (80 kg), Eltaj Gafarov (87 kg) among men, and Minaya Akbarova (46 kg) and Samarrukh Osmanova (49 kg) among women will compete.
The team has departed for the competition under the leadership of Hikmat Samadov, Executive Vice-President of the national team, Vice-President Niyameddin Pashayev, head coach of the national adult team Mammad Abdullayev, senior coach Elnur Amanov and coach Gunay Zeynalova.
It should be noted that international referee Aygul Abdullayeva will represent Azerbaijan as a representative of justice in the competition.
