The influential Spanish newspaper "Marca" has published information about the guaranteed fees that 35-year-old Mexican Saul Alvarez, known as "Canelo", and 37-year-old American Terence Crawford will receive for their upcoming fight.
İdman.biz reports that their meeting will take place on September 14 in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA). Alvarez and Crawford will compete for the title of undisputed world champion in boxing in the second middleweight division.
According to reports, Saul will receive a guaranteed fee of $150 million for the upcoming fight, while Terence will receive $50 million.
As a reminder, Crawford shared the ring with Uzbek representative Israil Madrimov in his last fight on August 3, 2024, in Los Angeles (California, USA). The fight lasted 12 rounds and ended with the American athlete's victory by unanimous decision of the judges (116-112, 115-113, 115-113).
Alvarez, in turn, won against William Scull by unanimous decision of the judges in his last fight on May 4 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). As a result, Canelo regained the title of undisputed world champion in the second middleweight division.
