Azerbaijani boxer Alfonso Dominguez started the World Championship in Liverpool with a victory.
Idman.biz reports that the leader of our national team, fighting in the 90 kg category, faced Yasse Kiss (Germany) in the 1/8 finals.
Our world champion gave his opponent no chance. Dominquez, who finished all 3 rounds in his favor, eventually won with a score of 5:0 (29:28, 29:28, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27).
He will enter the 1/4 final match on September 10.
Note that 4 more boxers from the Azerbaijani national team will enter the 1/8 final fight.
