38-year-old former UFC champion Alex Pereira commented on his defeat in the first fight against Magomed Ankalaev.
İdman.biz reports that Pereira said the following in a statement to "The Brian Campbell Experience" YouTube channel:
"I'm not going to go into details right now, but considering what happened, I'm surprised I was able to face Ankalayev in the first fight. Honestly, I was about 40% ready that night. Even if I'm only 50% ready this time, that extra 10% will make a big difference. There will be no doubt in anyone's mind."
It should be noted that the rematch between Pereira and Ankalaev will take place on October 5 in Las Vegas at the UFC 320 tournament.
