He commented on his fight against US athlete Sean Climaco in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, as part of the "ONE Fight Nights" tournament. Guluzade said that the meeting was tense and interesting: "It was my first fight after signing a contract with the "ONE Championship" organization. I dedicate my victory to the Azerbaijani people. I will do my best to raise our tricolor flag to the peaks."
The 19-year-old athlete also announced his future goals: "Now my main goal is to bring the organization's belt to Azerbaijan. I am proud to represent my country in the world's most prestigious fighting competition."
