38-year-old former undisputed world heavyweight champion, the undefeated Oleksandr Usyk, has revealed 5 key moments of his professional career.
Idman.biz reports that the Ukrainian boxer also included the 2011 World Boxing Championships in Baku in the list.
He said in an interview with the famous DAZN channel: "The first moment is the day I started boxing. This happened in 2002. The second is an important victory I won at the European Championship in Liverpool in 2008. The third is winning the world champion title at the championship held in Baku in 2011. The fourth is the gold medal I won at the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games. As the fifth moment, I can say winning the title of undisputed world heavyweight champion in Riyadh in 2024".
It should be noted that Usyk won the gold medal at the final of the 2011 World Championship held in Baku, defeating Teymur Mammadov, a member of the Azerbaijani national team.
