The semi-final fights of the U-15 European Boxing Championship in Budva, Montenegro, have concluded.
According to "Report", on the last day of the stage, 3 more athletes from the Azerbaijani national team secured their place in the final.
Nurlan Museyibli (66 kg) tested his strength against Arda Fidan (Turkey). The boxer, who defeated his opponent with a score of 5:0 (30:27, 29:28, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27), reached the final for the 3rd time in a row at the European Championships. The last winner of the continental championship will face Evander Dickinson (England) in the decisive match.
Yusif Agakishiyev (75 kg) finished his second consecutive fight ahead of schedule. The national team member, who won the 1/4 final in just 45 seconds with a complete advantage, forced Oleksandr Tomich (Ukraine) to surrender in the second round of the semi-final. He will test his strength against Tomas O'Reilly (Ireland) in the final.
Mehran Rasulov (80 kg) was stronger than Valeri Todorov (Bulgaria). The boxer, who finished the first round in his favor, won the second round with a complete advantage. Rasulov will clarify his relationship with Sergiy Kotovsky (Ukraine) in the gold medal fight.
Other boxers, Onur Gurbanov (42 kg), Eljan Musazade (50 kg), and Erdem Tekin (90 kg), won bronze medals at the European Championship.
It should be noted that 2 more of our boxers will enter the ring in the finals to be held today. Nasrin Abdullazade (40 kg) will face Madlin Laverick-Arnot (England), and Khumar Jafarli (75 kg) will face Yağmur Eryurt (Turkey).
