The NBA management and the Players Association have positively responded to the appeal of "Los Angeles Lakers" playmaker Luka Dončić regarding the 65-game rule.
İdman.Biz reports that the star basketball player had to miss two games in December due to the birth of his child. The Slovenian player, who was injured in early April, participated in a total of 64 matches in the regular season, which was one game short of the minimum required for individual awards (65 games). Thanks to the league's decision, Dončić retains the right to compete for all individual awards, including the MVP (Most Valuable Player) title and selection to symbolic teams at the end of the 2025/2026 season.
Dončić, who has shown a phenomenal performance in the current regular season, has scored a total of 2143 points. He is one of the league's most productive players, averaging 33.5 points per game.
