Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Yusif Dursunov, who won a silver medal at the U-23 European Championship in Zrenjanin, Serbia, aims to win the Junior European Championship next.
According to the "Report" correspondent sent to the competition, the wrestler stated this in an interview with journalists after the final match.
He attributed the reason for the defeat in the final to some mistakes:
"Today I won a silver medal at the U-23 European Championship. Actually, I went to the mat for the gold medal, but it was not meant to be. I made some mistakes. God willing, I will work on the mistakes and try to achieve better results in the next competitions."
The wrestler emphasized that his goal is a gold medal:
"The Junior European Championship awaits us ahead. I will go to training camps to prepare for the competition. I believe that I will return from the next competition with a gold medal."
