Hasan Aliyev, the coach of the Azerbaijani national team in Greco-Roman wrestling, confirming what his colleague said, emphasized that cunning comes from the character of the athlete: "All athletes have cunning. This is more about not accepting defeat. In general, a person who easily accepts defeat cannot be a great wrestler. It is important to show persistence in order to achieve the goal. You must definitely work hard and put all your strength into it. Especially when it comes to wrestling. Once, we had to stay in the same center with the football players before the competition. I don't want to name it, but I had an interesting conversation with one of our famous football players there. We were discussing among ourselves whether football is difficult or wrestling. At that time, I saw the football players leaving together. When I asked where they were going, my interlocutor replied that they were going for a walk. I said, look, this is the main difference between wrestling and football. We have finished training and don't have the strength to go down and get water, but you have finished training and are going for a walk."

Hasanov also noted that wrestling is a difficult sport: "Wrestling is a sport where you can end your career with just one mistake. In team games, if you make a mistake, your teammate can correct your mistake somewhere. A wrestler must always work on himself. I used to stay in the same room with Togrul Asgarov. After training, we would come to the room and lie down for an hour. Togrul would say, you go to bathe first, then let's go to eat. I would say no, you go first. We were so tired that we couldn't even lift our arms to bathe."
