A training camp for a group of boys' volleyball players under the age of 14 has started in Sheki.
İdman.Biz reports that this stage of the preparation process, organized by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, will continue until May 24.
The camp started on May 4 in Baku, at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex. About 20 young volleyball players selected from different regions of the country are involved in the preparation process.
The training sessions are led by Jahangir Seyed Abbasi, the head coach of the national team of teenage and young boys. Preparation is organized according to a special program.
During the training process, special attention is paid to the development of athletes' technical and tactical skills, as well as their physical fitness. At the same time, training is conducted to form team play and strengthen game discipline.
The main goal of the camp is to identify promising volleyball players, support their development and prepare them for the national teams in various age groups in the future.
It is planned to involve athletes who distinguish themselves during the preparation process in the national teams.
