The roster of the Azerbaijani national women's volleyball team for the Golden European League has been announced.
Idman.biz reports that the initial roster of our national team includes 19 volleyball players.
Head coach Faig Garayev's team includes 8 attackers, 5 blockers, 4 liberos, and 2 setters. Experienced specialists Famil Agayev and Emin Abilov will assist the experienced coach in the coaching staff.
Liberos: Asiyat Abuyeva, Jeyran Imanova, Yuliya Karimova, Beyaz Guluyeva;
Setters: Yana Doroshenko, Kristina Besman;
Blockers: Anastasia Mertsalova, Aynur Imanova, Ayshan Abdulazimova, Maria Kirilyuk, Olena Kharchenko;
Attackers: Elizaveta Ruban, Ilhama Azimova, Ulker Karimova, Nikolina Bashnakova, Polina Rahimova, Margarita Stepanenko, Kseniya Pavlenko, Elizaveta Burkova.
It should be noted that our national team will play its first match against Hungary in Baku on May 30.
