The next stage of the training camp organized to form national teams of boys in the lower age groups in volleyball has ended.
Idman.Biz reports that the preparation process organized by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation was held at Sheki OIC on May 18-24.
The camp started on May 4 at Absheron OIC. In the next stage, athletes born in 2010, 2011 and 2012, selected as a result of the selection process carried out throughout the country, were involved in the training.
The training camp held under the leadership of Jahangir Seyyed Abbasi, the head coach of the national team of adolescent and young boys, is intended for boys volleyball players up to 14 years old. The preparation process was carried out in two groups. Athletes born in 2010–2011 and volleyball players born in 2012 trained in separate groups.
In total, training sessions were organized to increase the physical, technical and tactical readiness of volleyball players in the gathering, which was attended by 25 athletes.
The stage held at Sheki OIC has been successfully completed. The camp is planned to be continued at Absheron OIC until June.
It is planned to involve athletes who distinguish themselves during the gathering in the national teams in the relevant age groups.
