As part of the "Selection Day", a selection process was organized at the Sheki Olympic Sports Complex among volleyball players consisting of junior and young boys.

It was reported that the selections were conducted by Jahangir Seyed Abbasi, the head coach of the national team consisting of junior and young boys.
Athletes from the Oguz, Ganja RVK and Tovuz VK teams participated in the selections. In total, 64 athletes participated in the selection stage.
The coaching staff evaluated the physical fitness level, technical and tactical skills, and game discipline of the participants. Athletes who meet the established criteria were registered and included in the list of candidates suitable for the next stage.
It should be noted that as a continuation of the selection process, the next selections are planned to be held in Nakhchivan. Selection tours are important in terms of identifying promising athletes in the regions and forming the composition of national teams.
