"It was a great season! I can't believe it's over." Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijani volleyball player evaluated the past season in Brazil, where she won the national championship and cup with "Osasco", as well as the Paulista championship.
Rahimova emphasized on her social media page that they had an incredible, beautiful, and unforgettable season: "The season was full of emotions, positivity, and the most unexpected ending for me. I'm on cloud nine because my dream came true. We did it - all three cups are ours! I am very grateful to everyone who was with me on this journey, supported me, and believed in me. It's time to turn the page and move on to the next chapter of this adventure. Let's go!"
Rahimova will spend the next season in "Panionios". By the way, there are four more foreign players in the current squad of the Greek club, among whom Elisa Vasileva-Atanasevic stands out in particular. The Bulgarian volleyball player previously played for "Fenerbahce".
"Panionios" will also feature Serbian attacker Bianka Busa, Ukrainian diagonal player Viktoriya Lohmanchuk, and Cypriot middle blocker Katerina Zacchayu. The team's head coach is Serbian Dragan Nesic.
