Jalil Jafarov, Advisor to the President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation and a member of the Board of Directors of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), is participating in the "Champions League Final Four Men 2026" tournament as a CEV representative.
Idman.Biz reports that the next meeting of the CEV Board of Directors was also held within the framework of the prestigious competition organized in Turin, Italy. The meeting was chaired by CEV President Rocco Siciri.
The meeting discussed the development prospects of European volleyball, the organization of international competitions, the management of inter-club tournaments, the refereeing system, marketing activities, commercial cooperation, and organizational issues related to the upcoming seasons.
In addition, there was an exchange of views on CEV's future activities and projects to be implemented for the further development of European volleyball.
It should be noted that the "CEV Champions League Final Four Men" is one of the most prestigious inter-club volleyball tournaments in Europe. In the final stage, Polish volleyball teams "PGE Projekt Warszawa" and "Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie", Italian team "Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia", as well as Turkish volleyball team "Ziraat Bankkart Ankara" are competing for the championship.
