The beach volleyball competitions at the Universiade, held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany, continue in difficult weather conditions.
Idman.biz's correspondent, dispatched to Germany, reports that the weather conditions in Duisburg Sports Park, where the Azerbaijani team also performs, are not at all suitable for beach volleyball.
Due to the rain, the games have been suspended several times, and the court has also been briefly evacuated due to a storm warning.
However, all this does not yet affect the performance schedule of our athletes.
In the women's competition, Sabina Alizade and Fidan Ahmadkhanova played their second game at the multi-forum today. They lost to the Lithuanian pair Krizanauskaite-Rutkovskaya in two sets. This is their second defeat at the Universiade.
Next, our men's duet Nariman Bayramli and Aykhan Abdullayev will enter the field. The Austrian pair Klemen and Spoler are waiting for them.
