An international seminar for volleyball coaches is being held in Baku with the support of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and organized by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF).
Idman.Biz reports with reference to AVF that the "FIVB Level-2" course organized at the Volleyball Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports started today.
65 people are participating in the training program, which will last until June 5. The course is organized in two groups. Classes for the first group will be held on May 25-29, and for the second group on June 1-5.
Coaches and specialists from Turkey, Australia, Cyprus, Iran, India, Ukraine, Israel and Belarus, along with Azerbaijan, participate in the trainings. The head of the seminar is FIVB coach-instructor, Professor Cengiz Akarçeşme, and his assistant is AVF representative Nargiz Ismayilova.
The course consists of theoretical and practical parts. Within the framework of the seminar, participants will be taught topics such as modern training methods, game systems, technical and tactical training, and proper organization of the training process. Specialists who successfully pass the exam at the end will be awarded the "Level-2" certificate.
