A preparatory meeting was held on the organization of the European Women's Volleyball Championship (CEV EuroVolley 2026) to be held in Azerbaijan.
İdman.Biz reports that the meeting, led by Bahruz Guliyev, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, was held at the National Gymnastics Arena, which will host the matches of Group C of CEV EuroVolley 2026.
The meeting discussed the accreditation process, reception of teams and guests, broadcasting of matches, security issues, as well as other organizational matters, and relevant tasks were defined for the upcoming period.
Note that the matches of Group C, which will be held in Baku, will last from August 21 to 28. The teams of Azerbaijan, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, and Spain will compete in this group.
The matches of the other groups of CEV EuroVolley 2026 will be held in Turkey (Group A), the Czech Republic (Group B), and Sweden (Group D).
