The appointment of Azerbaijani international volleyball referee Eldar Aliyev to national team games has been confirmed.
Idman.biz reports that he will referee in two matches at the second mini-tournament of the European Silver League, which will be held in Baku on June 13-15 among men's volleyball players.
On June 14, Aliyev, together with his Turkish colleague Cevril Ebru Kaya, will officiate the match between Hungary and Luxembourg. The next day, together with Corce Stevanovic (Serbia), he will be on duty in the match between Azerbaijan and Hungary.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will face Luxembourg on June 13 in the opening match of the Baku stage of the European Silver League. Cevril Ebru Kaya (Turkey) and Corce Stevanovic (Serbia) have been assigned to manage the match.
