Azerbaijan national team relegated to lower league after finishing last in European Golden League

Azerbaijan's women's volleyball team has lost its place in the European Golden League.

Idman.biz reports that this was due to the team's unsuccessful performance.

Our team, which failed to score points in 6 games and won only 2 sets, took the last place among 12 teams. This resulted in their farewell to the European Golden League, according to the regulations.

Our national team will compete in the European Silver League next season.
