Azerbaijan's men's volleyball team played its first match in the Silver European League today.
Idman.biz reports that the team, coached by Farid Jalalov, faced Sweden, who hosted the first round.
The opponent was considered a clear favorite in the match. This was reflected in the game. Our volleyball players were only able to resist the Swedes in the second set. In the other two sets, the Swedish team was superior with a difference of 12 and 11 points, respectively.
