The final squad of the Azerbaijan national men's volleyball team for the European League has been determined.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation that head coach Boris Grebennikov has included 14 players in the squad that will participate in the tournament.
The squad includes six attackers, four middle blockers, two setters, and two liberos.
Attackers: Vugar Bayramov, Andrey Melnikov, Javid Azimov, Zamig Mayilov, Ruslan Aliyev, Hasan Taghizade
Middle Blockers: Mardan Mammadov, Yegor Nikulenko, Alihuseyn Mammadov, Ramazan Agabayov
Setters: Roman Gurskiy, Amirmehdi Ablou
Liberos: Asif Aliyev, Nihad Gasimov.
The head coach of the Azerbaijan national team is Boris Grebennikov. He will be assisted by Akif Veliyev and Eldar Aliyev.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national team will play its first matches in the European League on June 5-7 in Sweden. Our team will face the Swedish and Greek national teams within the tournament.
