President of Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) Shahin Baghirov met with the U-15 volleyball players who won a bronze medal at the III CIS Games.
Idman.Biz reports that the event was attended by AVF vice-presidents Faig Garayev, Bahruz Guliyev, Secretary General Faig Orujov, federation representatives, team members, coaching staff and parents.
It was reported that during the meeting, Sh. Baghirov congratulated the team's players and coaching staff on winning the bronze medal. He assessed this success as a result of the measures taken by AVF in the direction of the development of children's and youth volleyball.
The president of the Federation advised young volleyball players to constantly work on themselves, to work hard to become strong and well-known volleyball players in the future, and to take a place in the main national team. He wished them success in the upcoming competitions and their careers. He also thanked the parents for their support and attention.
Speaking at the event, Faig Garayev, Bahruz Guliyev and Faig Orujov emphasized that the development of children's and youth volleyball is being continued, and expressed their belief that both girls' and boys' teams will achieve greater success in the near future.
The team's head coach, Shahin Chatma, young volleyball players and parents thanked the AVF management for the conditions created and the work done in the direction of the development of volleyball.
