Alexander Zverev, the 2020 Olympic champion and world number three, became seriously angry with his coach during his match against American Loner Tyen in the fight for a place in the semi-finals of the 2024 Australian Open.
Idman.Biz reports that this happened in the second set, when Zverev lost to Tyen with a score of 5:6.
"Go to sleep, get out of here," Zverev shouted at his coach, his father, and his brother Misha.
It is not known exactly what the German tennis player was angry about.
Zverev won the match with a score of 6:3, 6:7, 6:1, 7:6. In the semi-finals, the German tennis player will face the world number one, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
