The winners of the first national padel tennis championship, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation, have been determined.
Idman.Biz reports that in the competition held at the Baku Tennis Academy, Elvin Hashimov took first place among the boys, Tamerlan Azizov took second place, and Nazim Melikov took third place.
In the girls' competition, Umayra Hashimova, Lala Eyvazova, and Ayshan Kerimli took the top three places, respectively.
In doubles, the pair Tamerlan Azizov - Abbas Safarov showed the best result. The Elvin Hashimov - Umut Gundogan tandem came in second, and the Elman Alasgarov - Yusif Rzayev pair finished third.
It should be noted that 32 male and 12 female athletes participated in the Azerbaijan Championship.
