The Azerbaijan Veteran Table Tennis Championship has concluded.
Idman.biz reports that the competition, held at the "Shua" Sports and Health Complex, saw men compete in the 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ age groups, while women competed in the 40+ age group.
Vaqif Mammadov, Yashar Movlanov, Mazahir Hasanov, Mukhtar Agazade, and Marina Ruvayeva, who defeated all their opponents in the championship with nearly 60 participants, were awarded the main prize in the individual competition.
The Zaur Mikayilov and Mahir Jabiyev tandem rose to the highest step of the podium in the doubles competition.
The distinguished participants were awarded by the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation.
