Azerbaijan's coefficient in the UEFA rankings has increased.
Idman.Biz reports that this was made possible by the victories of "Qarabağ" and "Zirə" in the first qualifying round of the European Cups.
The Ağdam representative defeated Iceland's "Vestri" in the UEFA Europa League, while the "Hawks" beat Georgia's "Torpedo" with three unanswered goals in the UEFA Conference League. Both matches were held away.
Thus, the country's coefficient for the current season has reached 1,500. Azerbaijan (20,062) is currently in 26th place. Israel, which is in 25th place, has a coefficient of 20,750, while Bulgaria, which is in 27th place, has a coefficient of 18,562.
