All teams that have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Ice Hockey World Championship held in Switzerland are known.
Idman.Biz reports that Switzerland, Finland, Latvia and the USA have qualified for the play-offs in Group A. Switzerland took first place, Finland second, Latvia third and the USA fourth.
In Group B, Canada, Norway, Czech Republic and Sweden qualified for the quarter-finals. Canada secured first place. Norway was second, Czech Republic was third, and Sweden was fourth.
The quarter-final pairings are as follows:
Canada - USA;
Norway - Latvia;
Finland - Czech Republic;
Switzerland - Sweden.
The quarter-final matches of the World Championship will be held on May 28.
