The semi-final match of the 2026 Ice Hockey World Championship between Switzerland and Norway has ended in Zurich, Switzerland.
Idman.Biz reports that Switzerland won the match held at the SwissLife Arena with a score of 6:0 and qualified for the final of the tournament.
In the final, the Swiss will face the winner of the Canada-Finland match.
Switzerland has qualified for the tournament final for the third time in a row, becoming the fifth team to do so.
It should be noted that Switzerland could become the first team in history to lose three consecutive finals. In 2024, Switzerland lost to the Czech Republic (0:2), and in 2025 to the USA (0:1 in overtime).
