A mass race called "Run to the Summit" in athletics was organized in the Gusar region.
Idman.Biz reports that the competition was held on the joint initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Gusar District Executive Authority and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation.
More than 800 amateur athletes participated in the mass run. The participants competed over a distance of 11 km.
Among women in the 22+ age category, Nazrin Garibova was awarded the first place among 146 participants.
In the 15-22 age category, Nabiyulla Galabagiyev took second place and Abel Ismikhanov took third place among 131 participants.
