Pictures showing who is in the new leadership of the Federation

On May 2, an extraordinary general meeting of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation was held.

QOL.az reports with reference to the press service of the organization that the event, held in the administrative building of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, began with the playing of our National Anthem. Speaking at the event, the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov greeted the meeting participants and wished them success. 

Then, the Secretary General of the Federation, Elnara Musayeva, presented a report on the work done during the past period. At the event, the President of the Federation, Madat Guliyev, stated that he had done everything possible to develop this sport during his leadership of the organization, resigned, and wished success to the newly elected leadership of the federation. 

Elections were held for the leadership of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation. Zaur Akhundov, President of the "Silk Way" Group of Companies, was elected President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation. Sahib Alakbarov was elected 1st Vice-President, Robert Eyyubov and Fikrat Huseynov Vice-Presidents, and Rashad Gulmaliyev, Emin Mustafayev, and Albert Pitersma were elected members of the Executive Committee.

In the end, Zaur Akhundov thanked for the trust shown and said that he would do his best to develop this sport.
