From May 27 to 30, a training on the development of media and PR skills was held in "Sports Capital" Gazakh for press secretaries of federations and media officials.
İdman.Biz reports that the training, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Sports Academy at the Gazakh Olympic Sports Complex, was conducted by James Taker, a renowned British media expert and international media and communications specialist, and Julis McGiver, an international sports management, education and commercial strategy consultant.
Qabil Mehdiyev, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Aziz Masmaliyev, Head of the Gazakh-Tovuz Regional Youth and Sports Department, and trainer James Taker spoke at the opening of the training.
During the training, participants were given practical knowledge on sports communication strategies, effective organization of work with the media, and building public relations. The sessions were organized in an interactive format and special attention was paid to the development of participants' skills.
On the last day of the training, Ramil Jabbarov, advisor to the Minister of Youth and Sports, conducted a training on "Effective use of social media."
The Gazakh District Executive Authority organized a visit to the historical and cultural monuments of the Gazakh district for the training participants.
Competitions in basketball, mini-football, volleyball, handball, table tennis and other sports were also organized among the participants, and an intellectual game was held.
At the end, certificates were presented to the participants.
