Leonnel Messi Nguichie Disqualified at Junior World Championships

Cameroonian swimmer Leonnel Messi Nguichie has been disqualified at the Junior World Championships held in Otopeni, Romania. Sport24.az reports that the 14-year-old athlete was penalized for violating the starting rule in the 50-meter backstroke race.

 

The Junior World Championships are attended by girls aged 14-17 and boys aged 15-18.
