The delegation of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, consisting of more than 150 people, successfully participated in the CHIO Aachen, which is held in Aachen, Germany, and is considered one of the most prestigious events in the world of equestrian sports.
According to Lent.az, referring to the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, CHIO Aachen, which has been organized since 1898 and has a history of more than a century, is known in the international equestrian community as the "Wimbledon of equestrian sports." Equestrian representatives of the world's leading countries, as well as famous athletes ranked in the top 100 in the world rankings, participated in this magnificent event, which is considered one of the most prestigious show jumping competitions in Europe.
The competitions were held at the Hauptstadion arena, located in the famous Soers complex in Germany, with a capacity of 40,000 spectators.
The special "Horse & Symphony" program dedicated to the James Bond theme, organized within the framework of the event, and the performance of the Military Orchestra of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan together with the CHIO Aachen orchestra team were accompanied by applause from the audience, and the presented musical compositions added a special flavor to the event.
The Karabakh and Dilbaz horses, reflecting the ancient equestrian traditions of Azerbaijan, aroused special interest, and national musical elements and cultural compositions were greeted with applause by the event participants. The grace, agility and aesthetic appearance of Karabakh and Dilbaz horses are of particular importance in terms of demonstrating Azerbaijan's rich equestrian culture on the international arena.
It should be noted that the city of Aachen will also host the FEI World Equestrian Championship in 2026. In this regard, CHIO Aachen is currently considered one of the main centers of attention of the world equestrian community, and the participation of the Azerbaijani delegation here is considered another indicator of the country's growing influence in the international sports and culture fields.
