The National Team of Nicaragua, which is set to participate in the FIFA U-15 World Championship and Festival to be organized in Baku, has arrived in Azerbaijan. Sport24.az reports, citing the Football Association of Azerbaijan (AFFA), that this is the first team to arrive in Baku for the tournament set to begin on October 22.
The official start of the organizational and reception phase of the tournament has been given with thearrival of the team at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
The international tournament, scheduled to run from October 22 to 30, is expected to feature the participation of 189 countries and the holding of nearly a thousand matches. All preparatory work for the organization of the event, which will bring together footballers, has been completed.
