Today, the sports games called "Bright Suns" were held among athletes with Down syndrome.
İdman.biz reports that the opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, local and foreign public representatives.
Athletes from Azerbaijan, as well as Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan participated in the competition organized by the Down Athletes Support Public Union at the Baku Athletics Center.
The purpose of the games is to draw the public's attention to people with Down syndrome and to prepare athletes for future international sports competitions.
