At the voting held on June 13 at the Congress of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), the full membership of the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation to FIS was accepted.
Idman.biz reports that, in addition, the application addressed to FIS by the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation regarding holding the final stage of the Mogul World Cup in Azerbaijan in 2026 was positively received.
Based on the result, FIS decided to hold the competition at the "Shahdag" Tourism Center, and the competition was included in the international federation's competition calendar.
It should be noted that the World Cup is planned to be held on March 14-15, 2026 at the "Shahdag" Tourism Center.
