The fourth meeting of the Working Group on Cooperation in Youth and Sports between Azerbaijan and Turkey was held in Istanbul.

It is reported that the meeting was co-chaired by Farhad Hajiyev, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, and Enes Eminoğlu, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Turkey, with representatives of relevant institutions from both countries participating.
During the meeting, the current state of cooperation in the fields of youth and sports, joint activities, and future prospects for cooperation were discussed. At the end of the discussions, a Protocol on Cooperation was signed between the parties. The Protocol includes programs for youth exchange, international camps and trainings, work with youth, international representation, and other areas of cooperation for 2026-2027. In the field of sports, it is planned to expand cooperation in the areas of expert exchange, digitalization, artificial intelligence applications, school sports, and sports management.
A bilateral meeting was also held between the deputy ministers during the visit. During the meeting, ideas were exchanged on further development of cooperation in the fields of youth and sports, implementation of joint projects, and expansion of mutual experience exchange.
Note that the delegation also watched a football match between Turkey and North Macedonia during the visit.
