6 judokas will represent Azerbaijan at the European Kata Tournament to be held in Radom, Poland.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation that our athletes will demonstrate techniques in "Nage-no-kata" and "Katame-no-kata".
In the "Nage-no-kata" type, Ismail Rzayev and Natig Gurbanli will compete as tori (attacking athlete), and Samir Ismayilov and Elchin Mayilov as uke (attacked athlete).
In "Katame-no-kata", Rafig Najafov (tori) and Seymur Majidli (uke) will demonstrate techniques.
It should be noted that 92 judokas (61 men, 31 women) from 13 countries will compete in the tournament, which will start on April 26.
