Training continues for the volunteers of the III CIS Games, which will be held in Azerbaijan.

In total, approximately 3,000 young people will become part of one of the largest sporting events of the year. The final stage of preparation and selection is currently underway.
Training for volunteers is organized at the venues where the competitions will be held.
Special classes are held for the volunteers who will participate in the opening ceremony, which will take place on September 28 at the city stadium in Ganja.
It should be noted that the volunteer program has aroused great interest: more than 9,700 applications have been received through the registration portal. 7,200 candidates participated in interviews that started on June 24, and after the selection process was successfully completed, the training phase started.
Most volunteers – 1,250 people – will work in the city of Ganja, 600 in Gabala, 350 in Shaki, 255 in Mingachevir, 190 in Yevlakh, 185 in Khankendi, and 175 volunteers in Goygol.
During the Games, volunteers will be involved in sports operations, human resources and workforce management, facility management, event and ceremony organization, as well as media operations.
It should be noted that the III CIS Games will be held from September 28 to October 8 this year in seven cities of Azerbaijan – Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Shaki, Goygol and Khankendi. The opening ceremony of the competition will take place on September 28, and the closing ceremony on October 8 at the Ganja city stadium.
