"I am very happy that we showed the highest result in this competition. We had prepared very seriously for the international regatta. We believed in advance that our result would be excellent. Although there were some difficulties. There was some fatigue because the race was held during the day."
It should be noted that on the last day of the "President's Cup-2026" international regatta dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in Mingachevir, members of our team, the duo of Tengiz Gagnidze and Giyas Ahmadov (200 meters, kayak, 2008-2009) won a gold medal.
