Tomorrow, the National Olympic Committee (NOC) will host a medal presentation ceremony for Azerbaijani athletes - taekwondo practitioner Gashim Magomedov and Greco-Roman wrestler Hasrat Jafarov.
Idman.Biz reports, citing report.az, that the medals won by the athletes at the "Paris-2024" Summer Olympic Games were later replaced with new ones due to wear and tear.
Gashim Magomedov's silver medal and Hasrat Jafarov's bronze medal have already been renewed. At the ceremony, both athletes will be officially presented with the replaced medals.
It should be noted that the event will take place tomorrow at 12:00 at the administrative building of the NOC.
