There will be no Olympic Village at the World Universiade Games, which will be held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany from July 16 to 27.
Idman.biz reports that athletes will be accommodated in hotels and university dormitories in the regions where the competition is held.
The Universiade, in which the Azerbaijani team will also participate, will be held at 23 venues located in Duisburg (near Düsseldorf), Bochum, Essen, Hagen and Mülheim, as well as in Berlin, the capital of Germany.
Azerbaijani athletes will compete in 12 sports: athletics, badminton, archery, beach volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics, taekwondo, canoeing, swimming, table tennis, tennis, judo and fencing.
It should be noted that the opening ceremony will be held on July 16 in Duisburg, and the closing ceremony will be held on July 27. 234 sets of awards in 18 sports will be presented at the Multiforum.
