Azerbaijani badminton player Leyla Jamalzade regretted not being able to win a gold medal in the final of the III CIS Games.
According to the information of "Report"'s employee sent to Gabala, the athlete said this in a statement to journalists.
She said that her injury also affected the result:
"I won a silver medal at the III CIS Games. I regret not being able to win a gold medal. Reaching the final is a big deal in itself. I was close to winning a gold medal. I made technical mistakes, and there was also a lack of physical condition. I was injured in the 1/4 final. This also had an impact.
