Idman.Biz reports that Azerbaijani karateka Irina Zaretska faced Turkish athlete Eda Eltemur in the final of the games.
The match ended with Zaretska's victory with a score of 5:3. Thus, Zaretska became the winner of the Islamic Games.
This is the 5th gold medal for Azerbaijani karatekas at the VI Islamic Games.
Irina Zaretska is the winner of the Islamic Games for the third time. She previously became champion in Baku in 2017 and in Konya in 2021.

Irina Zaretska defeated her opponent Anne Coralie Keita from Equatorial Guinea 6:3 in the semi-final. In the final, she will face Eda Eltemur from Turkey.
It should be noted that the Islamic Games will end on November 21.
