Idman.Biz reports that these words were said by Azerbaijani karateka Irina Zaretska (68 kilograms), who won a medal at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in her statement to journalists.
Irina Zaretska won the title of winner of the Islamic Games for the third time. She previously became champion in Baku in 2017 and in Konya in 2021.
She stated that she made history at the Islamic Games: "It was important to win this competition after a certain break. This will give me incentive for future competitions. The competition is not over yet. I wish my teammates good luck".
