Sanan Rasulov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation, provided information about the details of preparations for winning a ticket to the Summer Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles in 2028.
In an interview with "Idman.Biz", Sanan Rasulov emphasized the importance of the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in the preparation stage for the competitions.
According to Rasulov, athletes actively participate in international tournaments, gain experience, and national championships and trainings are held in a specialized hall fully equipped with the necessary equipment for sports climbing.
"Our athletes also participate in international tournaments, because it is important to gain experience in order to get to the Olympic Games. We both train and organize internal competitions in this specialized place equipped with special equipment for sports climbing.
Yes, although the hall is on the balance sheet of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the ministry has provided it for the federation's use free of charge. In addition, it also provides us with some financial support," said Sanan Rasulov.
