US President Donald Trump has hailed the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) ban on transgender people participating in women's competitions as his own achievement.
Idman.Biz reports that he shared this on the "Truth Social" platform.
"Congratulations to the International Olympic Committee for banning men from participating in women's sports. This is only happening because of my strong Executive Order protecting women & girls!" Trump wrote.
In February 2025, Trump announced that he would not allow transgender people to participate in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
